  • Wolseley drive to the Austins
Sunday drive to the Austin Seven club AGM.
  • Oystercatcher day

  • British Autojumble Waalwijk 2022
Quite the jumble of old cars.
  • Pickup the clubweekend
Of course the Austin Pick up was the ideal vehicle to carry our camping gear to the annual AMRWR camping weekend.
  • Achterhoekse Oldtimer rit 2022
It's always fun to follow some pretty vintage cars around on a local run.
  • Swinging Swalmen: Wolseley 1500
This was a very scenic roadtrip to the south in the Wolseley 1500. We drove there mostly avoiding the motorway. This meant the old car drove along old routes past small towns and quiet roads. The event was at a beautiful old farmhouse and there were cars as old as 1931 up to 1991.
  • New old kayak to the test: Stipyaks Ardeche 420
The Nordkapp and Baidarka explorer are fine sea kayaks, but they are a little heavy to drag across the rocks often. In the past I had a shorter "Combi 420" that was a nice and light river kayak, so when I saw this "Ardeche 420" it seemed like a good replacement. The first time I took it out on the river I noted how much it differs from t […]
  • Wagoneer Fanclub run
Starbuck was showing off his new face at the Wagoneer Fanclub run. Nice to see so many Wagoneers and two J-Trucks on the road the owners enjoying the sunny weather and the soundtrack of a herd of Jeeps rumbling through the countryside.
  • Starbuck facelift: Wagoneer Rhinogrille conversion
Although the original grille on Starbuck looks fine, I really prefer the older style Rhino chaser grille on any Wagoneer. Also, as the keeper of a genuine Rhino grille with matching set of pie pans, it seemed faux pas to leave such a beauty hanging listlessly from the garage wall, so I decided it was time to award Starbuck with this Rhinogrille conversion.  […]
  • Austin Seven Opal run
This is the Dutch pre War Austin Seven club  “Seven Miles run”.  This was in Wesepe, just north of Deventer and it is a nice drive through a rural area and on beautiful roads .There was a decent group of Austins in attendance. There were Saloon cars , another Opal, older two- and four-seat Tourers and a number of specials. All very beautiful and fun to follo […]
